Manila, Philippines — Long before the scale of exhibitions and the weight of leadership, Jill Aithnie Ang understood what responsibility meant.
Born to Joseph and Levi Ang and as the eldest of four siblings—Carl, Michelle, and JR—she grew up with a strong sense of accountability. It was not something taught in theory but practiced early through expectations, discipline, and the understanding that showing up was part of the role she carried.
Over the years, she has traveled extensively, gaining exposure to world-class event standards and practices. These experiences shaped her perspective, but more importantly, reinforced a principle she would carry into her professional life: that meaningful work is built on consistency, not momentary success.
That principle would later define her leadership at Worldbex Services International (WSI).
Today, WSI stands as one of the country’s premier and leading exhibition organizers, mounting 16 events across key industries. These platforms are not only venues for business and exchange but also catalysts for growth, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
Among these are WSI’s flagship events like the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo (WORLDBEX) and the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), both recognized for their scale and influence. Yet behind their success is a level of discipline and coordination that demands precision, foresight, and steady leadership.
A defining milestone within the organization is the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX), which marks two decades of sustained growth this year. Since its founding in 2006, MAFBEX has evolved alongside the Philippine food and beverage industry, serving as a platform for both established brands and emerging players. Its journey, documented through a commemorative feature, reflects not only expansion, but the persistence required to build something that endures.
For Ang, this is the essence of leadership.
"You do not build for the moment,” she says. “You build so that it lasts.”
Within WSI, this perspective is evident in how she leads her team. The work is demanding and the standards are high, but there is a clear sense of support that runs through the organization.
She remains present during critical moments, listens when it matters, and ensures that no one is left to carry the responsibility alone.
Over time, this approach has fostered a culture that goes beyond structure.
It becomes a sense of family.
Not in name, but in practice—formed through shared challenges, long hours, and a collective commitment to deliver.
“You take care of your people,” she adds. “Because they are the ones who carry the work with you."
This Women’s Month, her leadership offers a grounded perspective on what it means to lead. It is not defined by recognition or visibility but by the ability to remain steady, to be accountable, and to uphold the work with integrity.
She does not position leadership as a title to be claimed, but as a responsibility to be carried.
Her advice to future leaders reflects the same clarity.
“Every moment is an opportunity. Do not wait for the perfect moment. There is none. Learn to stand on your own, do the work, and stay consistent. If you can carry the responsibility, the opportunity will follow.”
As industries continue to evolve, leaders like Jill Aithnie Ang remain anchored in what matters most.
The work.
The people.
And the responsibility to carry both forward.

Premier industry platform highlights leading architectural firms while introducing a groundbreaking initiative for emerging professionals
Manila, Philippines — Architecture is more than the creation of structures—it is imagination made visible. It shapes the way people live, work, and experience the world, telling stories through every line drawn, every space designed, and every material chosen. At WORLDBEX 2026, taking place on March 12–15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila, this philosophy comes to life through one of its most anticipated highlights: the World of Architecture, a dynamic showcase dedicated to innovation, excellence, and opportunity within the built environment.
As the Philippines’ premier platform for architecture, design, and construction, WORLDBEX continues to expand its role beyond exhibition. Guided by this year’s overarching theme, Building Opportunities, the event fosters meaningful connections among industry leaders, international suppliers, developers, and the next generation of design professionals.
A Platform Where Visionaries Converge
A cornerstone feature of WORLDBEX 2026, the World of Architecture serves as a vibrant meeting ground for creativity and collaboration. Architects, designers, engineers, builders, and suppliers gather under one roof to exchange ideas, explore partnerships, and present forward-thinking solutions that address the evolving demands of the built environment.
At the heart of this showcase is a distinguished lineup of participating firms, including: GALA Architecture; Barchan Architecture; Palafox Associates / Palafox Architecture Group, Inc.; HAN Architectural Design Studio; WTA Design Studio; Fulgar Architects; Cubesystem Builders Corp.; GFP Architects; Headroom Concept Design Visualization Co.; LPPA Design Group, Inc. / LP Pariñas & Associates; EUDO – Edwin Uy Design Office; Primea Design Group Co.; Benjamin Annabelle Architecture Design Studio (BAAD); Arbuena Architects; DEQA Design Collab; JOG Associates; Projects Design Plus Architecture Management Corp. (PDP + Architecture); UODC Architects; Huraa Design and Consulting Inc.; Edward Co Tan + Architects (ECT + A); Angeles Architectural Studio (AA Studio); Visionary Architecture (VISIONARCH); Kasa Arkhitekton Inc.; ASYA Design; CASAS + Architects Inc.; and HANDS Group.
Together, these firms exemplify design excellence and industry leadership, reinforcing the World of Architecture as a hub where innovation is not only displayed—but transformed into collaborative opportunities.
Introducing ARC Circle Collective: Investing in the Future of Architecture
Further strengthening its commitment to Building Opportunities, WORLDBEX 2026 proudly announces the debut of ARC Circle Collective, a forward-looking initiative designed to empower emerging architects and young design professionals.
More than a launch, ARC Circle Collective represents a strategic investment in the next wave of architectural leaders. It creates a structured ecosystem that integrates young architects into the broader industry landscape—providing meaningful exposure to global suppliers, direct engagement with established firms, access to real project opportunities, and curated business matching sessions that connect talent with decision-makers.
As Arch. Richard Garcia of GALA Architecture emphasizes, “We must always ask ourselves, how do we do it better? How do we outdo our last project?” This mindset of constant growth and purposeful innovation reflects the very foundation of ARC Circle Collective—encouraging emerging professionals not only to design, but to evolve, collaborate, and seize opportunities that elevate their practice.
Through ARC Circle Collective, architecture is positioned not only as a discipline of design, but as a thriving professional community built on mentorship, partnership, and shared progress—ensuring that opportunity is not accidental, but intentionally built.
